Jazbaa Box Office Collection : Collects 12.05 Cr By Day 2

Aishwarya Rai’s  ‘Jazbaa’ manages to get into double digits on day 1, ending with less than half that amount at Rs 4.23 Crore, signalling there were not much interest among the theatre going crowds about the movie, and even Rai’ comeback after 5 years could not grab much of the viewers. Day 2 did not gather too much cheer to the film makers  either as the collections were a sum up at Rs 5.49 Cr in the domestic market and the total raised to Rs 9.72 Cr. With the foreign take the amount rose into double figures at Rs 12.05 Cr.

Starring Irrfan Khan, Jazbaa was supposed to mark the comeback of Aishwarya‘ in a worth summoning manner rather could not zender a glowing account especially panning Rai’ overblown performance. The effective words were in fact saved for Irrfan Khan and his overblown performance. Therefore, the film could not gather more than an average business at the box office.

Which way ‘Jazbaa’ was heading was clear from the day 1 morning occupancy rate, which was quite underwhelming at 35%, which was way behind runaway winner of last week, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh Is Bliing’ at 80%.

The Sanjay Gupta directed film does not face much of a competition from rivals.
